Who we are
Chicago Community Midwives is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving maternal-child health by educating the public and professionals about the Midwives Model of Care™, out of hospital birth and breastfeeding.
What we do
Through innovative grassroots programs, dedicated advocacy, evidence-based professional education conferences and workshops with national and international experts in the field of childbirth and breastfeeding, Chicago Community Midwives provides a conduit for parents and professionals to learn about evidence-based techniques to improve the health and well-being of mothers and babies. We are a rare source of information for birth professionals based on human outcomes, not on profit.
